Join us at our ASIS Connecticut chapter meeting on Friday January 30th for a discussion on "Evolving and Maturing Business and Organizational Security". This presentation will look at the challenges and opportunities for refining, professionalizing and streamlining security support from a few vectors: the security leader, the business and finance manager, the suppliers and available tools, executive leadership, and organizational culture.

Meeting speaker: 

Mike Wanik, CPP, CBCP, Corporate Security Advisor, Group W Advisory LLC

Mike formerly led corporate security at United Therapeutics Corporation and UnitedHealth Group over a period of 25 years. He also led the investigative and training efforts at SSC here in Connecticut for 3 years during his career. He's a contributing author to the Protection of Assets Manual about global operations, and is a member of the ASIS International CSO Center, a life member of ISMA, (the International Security Management Association), and was named as one of the Most Influential in Security by Security Magazine in 2020 and a Security Thought Leader in 2018.
